How to get game from Johren?

Does anyone know how to actually purchase a game off of Johren? It says I need to have a card that has 3D secure, but from what I searched doesn't seem to be very common especially in the USA. I'm a bit bummed out as I would like to get the patch from there as well their other titles. Please help I'd really appreciate it.

honestly dude my recommendation is buy the game here to support the devs and then get the "freedom" edition from your favorite high seas.
Johren has a draconian drm scheme that only lets you activate a game 5 times and then you need to buy it again.
I want to support them but it's just absurd.

You don't need a credit card to buy the Steam patch. Since it costs 0 dollars, you just have to create a free account and when you click to buy it the download starts directly.
