yes. the story in the game covers up to around episode 316 of the anime, but likely without any of the filler. if you play the story, and you like it, i definitely recommend watching the anime anyway.

Its gonna cover bleach up to the hiatus, Im willing to bet theyll put a tybw expansion as well, idk how good the recap is but if its good enough you could jump into the new tybw anime (based username btw)

You have multiple ways to watch the show or read the manga for free, super goofy to invest money into a game for an IP you don't know if you even like.

Once you finish the story mode, you just need to search the first episode of Fullbringer arc then you can finish the original anime and you'll be able to watch TYBW.

Not fully correct, it goes up until Aizen defeat, no fullbring arc, and just as a reminder that is a very important canon arc before TYBW

Ginjo and Tsukishima literally come back in TYBW and without them Ichigo couldn't have killed Yuha. It's also the biggest character development for Ichigo and shows that the Soul society is grateful to him

Indeed and it gives us Fullbring Ichigo which when combined with his Shinigami Powers gives us the best designed Ichigo, who will definitely be playable as well in a Sequel if we ever get it.

And do not forget the importance of Fullbringers in regards to the Soul King. They are essentially all Soul King's Children, with Ginjo even sharing the abilities of Soul King and Juha to give and take powers.

Some filler is peak but you ofc can skip filler.

Id say to just read the manga tbh its a better execution of the authors vision and its a faster read (watch the last arc though its peak
