absolutely not, all the issues (crashes, black bars, no sound etc) aside there is not even a ranked mode. no ranked in a online fighting game, there are only 2 player lobbies. talk about a stepdown from Sparking Zero. as bad of a game that was it atleast had "basic" features that should be the standard in fighting games.

it wont last long, so many people have already refunded because the PC Port is straight up unplayable + no ranked + no crossplay, this game was doomed from the start

Fighting games are made for ranked play..atleast thats what i think

I hoped this game would fill the gap that sparking zero has left.
But as it seems this is way worse then sparking zero.

I'm pretty sure Ranked will come out later. There's datamined leaks to support it and the fact that the free matches say "Not counted" on the victory screen. Nothing confirmed, though.

Don't ask me why they always do stuff like that with anime fighting games, I have no idea.

Kinda lame if you ask me, even if its not balanced ranked is a must, they could do ranked reset when the game is "balanced" tho

it's done. Don't waste your money at this point if you made it this far without caving in, it'll be bargain bin price in no time and have sub 1K players at best in few weeks.

i'm gonna be honest, i'd love a ranked mode of course.. but they gotta fix the crashing issues beforehand. Seems too risky to insert a ranked mode without the game breaking bugs out there already.

I will never comprehend why anime fighting games' online mode get treated like that. It baffles me. Having Crossplay, Rollback netcode, Ranked, Free Match and Tournament (with Spectate feature) should be the bare minimum for a decent online mode and should be available on release.

Crossplay is such a need for these games, I agree.
