Game freezes visually, sound persists and responds to my inputs

Many have had this issue but no one has worded it properly.
i tried changing my system language and the issue was not resolved.
let me know what yall got and hopefully this thread helps others with the same problem

Changing the system language alone isn't enough.

1. Go to Windows Task Bar -> Settings -> Language and Region.
2. Click Region.
3. Change both REGION and FORMAT to Japanese.

If that doesn’t help, try the methods listed under the black screen section (in the middle of the main post and at the very bottom).

i did everything over the last 45 minutes, unfortunately it did not resolve the issue. that said after the update this morning i at least dont crash anymore
