PSA: online game freezes/slow downs advice

the game performance is pretty bad for sure. but if it's running for you well offline and freezes/slow downs online even at same connection levels, i think the reason might be that the opponent isn't running the game well, as in that they aren't getting the minimum 30 fps and it causes the game to slow down on both sides because of that.

i played against green bars and had freezes and played against yellow bars with no freezes even when i was streaming at the same time.

my advice is everyone check offline vs mode and select a graphically intensive map and characters, play and do specials and finishers, etc. make sure you set your settings so that you get a consistent either 30 or 60.
make sure it never goes below 30!
it's not just visual, it's tied to game mechanics.

i hope they improve performance and stability soon but not sure if they will for the former tbh.
