Movement controls just need to change entirely. It's awful
So I was sort of wrong here about the movement. I was mainly playing as player 2 before, so I didn't understand how the movement works. What I discovered after trying it on player one is that the movement is off there too (but no where near as bad). The game sort of follow classic ps1 horror game movement. Characters move forward by moving the stick directly up, exactly like the classic tank controls in Resident Evil. Up moves forward for player 2 as well, but since the character is at the opposite end, it just feels so much worse. It's an interesting choice, but not something I can vibe with.
Its an interesting choice that ends up feeling like being punched in the face repeatedly.
