My controller wont work

Does anyone have any advice my controller wont attach and ive done everything i can think of to fix it

did you enable it on your steam options I believe its under properties.

I had to enable steam input.

using xbox controller as well, i've tried disabling steam input, using default steam input controls, making my own steam input controls. The best i've gotten is being able to use the actual buttons on my controller but not being able to use joysticks to navigate menu or move in combat. Please post if you have same issue or know how to fix it.

the fix i found at the moment is using big picture mode and unplug my keyboard and mouse

same problem here , it worked with keyboard but my xbox elite controller didnt in training mode, only the RT button. The RT button did a fast attack while the rest of the buttons X,Y,A,B did nothing

Tried launching in Big Picture Mode? That used to be a way round this issue a few years back.

No luck for me with that. Same issues as everyone else tried with and without the extended feature support driver and with and without steam input.

i was able to play on steamdeck in handheld, but not with a controller. I really can't play the game until I'm able to use a controller so I am probably gonna refund if they don't fix that this week. It was too expensive to have the most basic thing ignored.

Enable steam input and launch in big picture mode, worked for me.

Still having problems big picture mode wouldnt work im using xbox controller
does anyone else have any other ideas or should i just wait for update
