It's not just because of the filler that the adaptation is bad. The pacing was absolutely obliterated by the abysmal amounts of having to delay continuations of ongoing arcs due to their inability to just wait for a single arc to conclude before trying to adapt it. This is why there are about 4 or so filler arcs and countless more filler episodes littered throughout the anime.
Furthermore, an anime-only watcher might feel blindsided by Orihime's confession of love directed towards Ichigo in Goodbye, Halcyon Days because a lot of the set-up for it from early in the series was cut or altered to make her seem more scared of Ichigo. Similarly, other scenes were edited to create more romantic tension between Ichigo and Rukia, among other issues like the introduction of entire filler species or characters that return even during canon moments, like those three Mod Souls created during the Bount Arc who continue to show up throughout the Arrancar Arc.
The adaptation didn't actually get GOOD until the Fullbring Arc, which is genuinely one of the best parts of Bleach. Shame that at this point, the series' popularity had tanked thanks to how much of a slog the entire Arrancar/Hueco Mundo/Fake Karakura Town saga had been in terms of pacing. It's no wonder the anime went on hiatus after the end of Fullbring.
Glad TYBW is going so strong though. I really hope they do one day decide to re-animate the original series - it would go so hard.
1. Ichigo is too overpowered. He literally starts soul-reaping for like a week, and a week later, he's body bagging thousand year old begins of captain level, who's trained for over a thousand years. This almost threw me off of it too. And now every time i re-watch bleach, i skip the beginning part and get straight to the arancar arc.
2. The storyline itself was too complex for you, and with hundreds of other anime's going on at the time, its only natural to switch to something that can slow itself down to your pace.
3. Maybe you just simply didn't like it is why you stopped watching it.
And since your asking the forms for "help" this in turn mean your asking ME for help. So you have no choice but to accept MY reasoning because you are unable to conjure these thoughts up on your own. So you are welcome, but please try and make a attempt/effort to sort though these obvious issues yourself next time. I had to take at least 5 minutes out of my day to type this to you.
(also, as post 12 says, do not buy anime games, that you are not a fan of the anime of)
