Watch the anime before or while playing this game

I've never played a Bleach game before, and it’s been years since I last watched the anime.

Would it be better to revisit the Bleach universe through this game or start with the anime 🤔

I'd say to try and hunt down the manga. The anime actually changed quite a bit of the early characterization and some minor details that have a larger effect over the course of the series.

Either way though this looking like it'll be a good retelling of the whole story with some side missions looking to fill in background we didn't have before according to the JP site.

You can read the manga for free on MangaLife. There's even an officially colored version there. Kubo's artwork is so damn good.

bro I 'v to say that firstly I'm a Manga enthusiasts especially love the BLEACH.And this anime is definitely awesome.So I think it would be better if you revisit before you play this game.The anime story is damn good,while the game is just a accessory but I still buy it in advance

the anime has hundreds of episodes, not sure if its worth rewatching it if you already watched it, if you haven't watched the last arc (thousand year blood war) which came out a decade later in the anime you can watch that (its 3 seasons so far with final one to come next year)

there is also the game "bleach soul resurrection" where if you watch the cutscenes movie it will basically get you through all the story from beginning to the end of arrancar arc

Read the manga. It'll be faster at getting you up to speed than watching the anime.
