However i still think they missed an opertunity with the TYBW Anime, they should have kept using blue till The Sword is Me, would even made 100% sense in the context that is given there (doing it spoiler free as much is a can).
Yeah, that would've been the perfect option, but they messed up big time.
I'm currently going through some Colored Bleach Manga chapters, and have noticed that:
Quincies' Reiatsu is blue, which is likely why they've made the change in the current Anime Arc - to differentize Shinigami from them. Heck, they're so often blue that even the Anime added different colors, despite being, supposedly, "more accurate" this time around...
Arrancars' is... mostly yellow too :O Even Ulquiorra's... O_O His Lances are yellow... damn, what was Kubo thinking?! At least Grimmjow's is still blue...
I've noticed that some Shinigamis' Reiatsu has different colors. Rukia's seems to be blue, Kenpachi's... blue and purple?! Yachiru's is pink. Kira's seems to be light purple. Renji's is yellow like Ichigo's. Ikkaku's (Bankai) is light red.
So why change Ichigo's?? Literally Blue Getsugas made more sense due to inheritance!
