for those who are unsure about game beacuse furry stuff

If you're unsure about game beacuse furry stuff but you're interested in game beacuse detective style game or game feels your alley, Use your interest to in plot, gameplay and style of game as your deciding factor. Characters are definetly something to think about but you also could just try demo first and see how it feels to you! If characters are way to turn you away from game, it is fair but consider game more for plot, see if demo catches your interest.

okay but is there actually any sexual stuff? The game's tagged with hentai/nsfw/sexual content but I know games can be slapped with those tags just for having furry characters (especially if a muscly topless wolf-man is featured in the screenshots) that is not something I want, regardless of the furry aspect

mercury abbey dont have LGBT stuff spesifically and it has psychological horror elements so psychological horror kinda makes sense tho its probs added beacuse furries bad rep and LGBTQ tag is probably beacuse furries are generally known to be LGBTQ community

I played the whole game. there is NO NSFW material. perhaps the steam admins could at least reprimand the trolls that are abusing the tag system.

Just flag those tags, if they get enough flags they will be removed eventually

Tags are added by community consensus. One person can not add a tag if they're not a developer/publisher. Previously, I saw folks saying they lost the ability to add tags to games when they had added too many incorrect tags, but I haven't seen that mentioned in a few years so it may no longer be used.
