For anyone who's played: How's the in-game English translation?

The store page is a bit rough. Certainly not the worst I've seen, but not the best either. For a story heavy game translation could make or break it.

Really good. I noticed maybe one or two small errors during the few hours I've played it, but nothing major.

Very early in the game but it is readable, but maybe a bit rough.

I don't think a native speaker translated this as the indefinite articles and prepositions are kinda peppered in. Maybe some of the phrases could be better and more "natural". Like "Darling, start the engine, we have to stop by Harrod's."

I am sure I will have to do a double take at some sentences because the wording sounds off in my head, but them's the breaks when you play translated games by indie devs.

I think the prologue part was not changed from the demo.

It's fine later on, Not without mistakes, but I never had a problem with understanding what people were saying.

some of a dialogue is a little stilted. Stiff. Everything is entirely understandable, and it's absolutely readable. But once in a while characters will have awkward word choice or sudden tone choice through text.

I finished the game and the last chapter is a bit rougher around the edges, but unlike the pre-revised version of Tales of the Neon Sea I never had problems with understanding the plot. Mostly some typos, and the aforementioned awkwardness.

Nothing which would detract from the gameplay imo.

Going into the 4th chapter the spelling mistakes are apparent. Either with changing pronouns mid scene in some cases, or Harrod saying they spelled his name wrong when the picture in game clearly says Harrod. I have caught a few double letters like someone saying "ccatch" and in some cases misspelled words entirely.

Still readable mind, just you absolutely will see them.

Thanks for the responses. That's kind of what I expected from the store page. It's readable, but just a bit off in places.
