How to break the stone floors / survive the foggy lake

First of all - I love your game and have played it for hours... but now I'm stuck. I've completed all the quests that I can, but I got the feeling that in order to progress, I need new abilities.

I reached the foggy lake, but cannot cross the first body of water. I "learned" the ability to dive, but how do I use it? Or is there a different reason I cannot go farther?

Then there are many "cobblestone floors" that appear to be breakable - but how do I do that?

Yes, if you have the "DIVE" ability, I suggest you to got back to the Village and find the entrance to the Stinky Dungeon... Defeating the Stinky Dungeon boss will give you an ability to enter properly Foggy Lake!

Yes, if you have the "DIVE" ability, I suggest you to got back to the Village and find the entrance to the Stinky Dungeon... Defeating the Stinky Dungeon boss will give you an ability to enter properly Foggy Lake!

P.P.S. you gained the Dive defeating the Abominion in the Dark Forest, you simply have to jump, then press Y+down (the abilities combinations are listed in the "Abilities" panel, that you can visit from Inventory menu)

It's tricky, but now I figured out how to dive. Still, that Stinky Dungeons boss is a piece of work, I just can't defeat him just yet. Doesn't help that the last save point is so far away either... but I'll keep on trying.
