Best build ailment persona?
I need some advice regarding fighting against the physical strength persona like Thor or Yamata no orochi since both of them dont have any element weaknesses so technical take down is the best way to do it, any advice?

i will go with crit build. But if u want all round ailment, go with Phantom Show from Raoul and add Foul Stench skill trait or simply put ailment boost if u wanna another skill trait for Raoul. His Phantom Show has high chance of sleep and hit all targets, sleep will do technical damage from all of kind attack, including almighty.

Or another my choice is build a persona with bufudyne or mabufudyne that has freeze boost, i use freeze a lot especially fight with abaddon or fafnir since those enemies can drain and repel physical respectively, sleep tech won't do "pierce damage" to enemy that has physical / gun that str/nul/rpl/drn, oh last shock also can do the job just like freeze but i am prefer freeze since it won't cause "freeze" to transfer when i am doing attack basic with one of my party member. Don't ever bother use diamond dust or ice age it consume too many SP.

I usually keep a minimum of two ailment specialized personas in my stock. I divide ailments into two categories : Mental (Exploitable with psychokinesis : Rage, Forget, Confuse, Despair, Charm) and Physical ailments (Exploitable with physical attacks : Sleep, Freeze, Shock, Dizzy). You can actually follow up Sleep with any attack and it will still trigger Technical hits. This is why I always keep Haru in my party because she can spam technical hits with psychokinesis and her gun skills. She's actually top tier in merciless, at least to me.

Pay attention to the stats of your personas, if your goal is to create an efficient and effective ailment focused persona then luck stat is your priority. Passive skills such as ailment boost, shock boost, and freeze boost are also quite helpful. Spell master can also cut down SP usage to help you conserve SP.

You should also pay attention to your enemy's affinity. If an enemy resists/block/reflect/drain ice attacks then you most likely won't be able to freeze it. This is where having two or more ailment focused persona comes in handy, if freeze/dizzy/shock doesn't work you can always try Mental ailments (Rage, Charm, Confuse, etc). If Black Frost doesn't work, try Nebiros.

Use ailment guns, I use them a lot in normal encounters and they helped me conserve SP by a lot, these make me less dependent on my personas to inflict ailments for certain enemies. I never had to use SP recovery items due to low SP usage per fights. My normal encounters usually go like this : Using ailment guns in the first turn, then I finish them using physical skills. (I favor shock because enemies remain shocked after I attack them using physical skills, meaning you can trigger technical hits multiple times to a shocked enemy. Shock + Hassou Tobi is OP). I know certain enemies are immune to gun attacks, but if you max out Shinya's (Gamer Kid) confidant that shouldn't be a problem, as one of Shinya's confidant ability allows Joker's gun attacks to pierce enemy resistance.

This is all I know, Hope this helps.

I use mother harlot with the Gloomy Child Trait as well as the weather passives, Ice Age, and Dormina. You don't have to use that persona exactly but Gloomy Child with the weather passives gives you the best chances to inflict ailments, and Freeze makes characters vulnerable to physical attacks no matter what their resistance to it is. Sleep also makes them vulnerable to literally any attack and is easy to get from item fusion with Sandman
