My first playthrough was 86 hours, and that was 100%. Currently just doing some stupid challenge runs. So that's 2h/day.
All 3 modern tomb raider games sold for less than $30 on sale and they are just as old or newer than Persona 5. The most expensive one at normal price is $40.
Just cause it was ported (poorly) with Denuvo, doesn't magically make it a full price game again.
Ya I can definitely see them doing this. I feel the same way as you the game is worth no more than 30 dollars its old as hell.
Three years is not old, and even 7 isn't "old as hell", your scale is absolutely insane. I would say your concept of worth is also bad, but that's also much more subjective to tastes.
Persona 5 came out in 2016. The game is 7 years old, asking for 60 dollars is way too much. And 7 years is objectively old for a video game, you're being disingenuous.
You're going off the release date of Royal, which is the same game as 5 but with all the DLC and some adjustments included. DLC is comprised of tons of skins, BGM, 10 overpowered personas, currency to make the game easier, and some other stuff. A lot of the skins are not worth it. There are maybe 2-3 skins I would get.
Thing is, they are not going to sell a 7 year old game for $30 without the DLC when they can force players to spend $60 because they added the DLC. Yes, the base game is cheaper because of all the DLC include based on their pricing, but that is extra money the player is spending on stuff they may not want.
Most players would buy P5 for $30, and get the DLC if they think it's worth it. But this is not a choice players can make here on Steam.
7 years is old for a game. It is nearly a decade. I'd even hazard 3 years is already old for a game. I don't count games that are constantly updated.
Go play Genshin Impact or something, it's free.
