Lottery?

I hesitate to say there is a softlock for this mechanic, but somehow I bought a ticket my first in game week and now I cannot interact with the lottery stand anymore.

It has been in game months since I purchased the ticket. I've now attempted during the day and the night; the prompt is still there. However, no event or text or error pops up explaining why I cannot interact with the lottery. My suspicion? I missed the drawing date someway somehow and it glitched.

This said, I am not 100% sure how it was supposed to work since my first attempt ended up like this. I figured that I could appear on the date and win/lose or the ticket would become invalid if I missed it and I could then buy a new one.

I'd appreciate it if anyone knows if this is a known issue or just something I've missed. I'm not too heartbroken, but it seems a shame to miss out on it.

There are two types of lottery, the scratch lottery that can attempted once every day and draw lottery that makes you wait for a week to get the results before you can try again. There is also a summer lottery that locks you until the end of summer before you get the results. It's likely the summer lottery draw that keeping you from drawing another ticket. Just wait for the result of the summer lottery and everything should return to normal.

not a softlock but u bought a lottery ticket that can be claim later. I suspect u just buy summer mammoth lottery that can be claim next month or just read what mona said after u interact with stand lotttery to know when your lottery can be claimed

Btw daily lottery just scam, it's hard to win it, however weekly lottery kinda useful for NG but not for NG+

Is the summer lottery available in April? Because I quite literally bought it my first week I could roam. I think it told me it would be announced the 23rd, so probably the weekly drawing. However, after that time and throughout the summer I have not been able to interact with the lottery stand.

The Summer lotto starts in June. So either you have a summer lotto ticket or you didn't get one before the end of June. Just wait until 8/22, the lottery will return back to it's regular system and you should be able to draw a new ticket.

It is now November and day or night the lottery stand doesn't work. It wasn't just some summer thing.
