i think it's mostly bc i have the game stored on my external harddrive but it would be too much of a pain to put it on my ssd
Do you have a virtual audioboard that could be messing up the audiomixing in the game? I know I have to emulate Stereo on my virtual board for certain, older, games because they can't handle my 7.1 surround setup and it ends up with it mixing the background far louder than the foreground (I also play a lot of ambiance horror games)
Rn im trying to reinstall it, worst case scenario can depend youtube on that, other sound seems to be working fine yeah
I've tried every conceivable thing and looked everywhere I can think of for a solution (and even a lot of random things like graphical settings and such), started a new save, verified the integrity of my Steam files, you name it. I'm currently reinstalling the game, but I have very little hope for that working either.
I reached out to Sega support over this and wrote them an even more detailed report than this, so let's hope I hear back soon. Or at all.
By the way - I disabled all Nvidia sound drivers and removed them, because they where interfering. I make sure with driver updates I do not re-install (manual setup) those sound drivers again (and I never install that stupid experience stuff).
Maybe worth a look if your sound card is set to surround in stead of stereo?
