Massive Lag in Kanshiro's Bank

I have already been experiencing some weird frame drops to 40-50 in palaces and the overworld despite having well over the requirements for 60 FPS at high settings (Ryzen 3600, RX 5600 XT). Still playable though and is not too noticeable the longer you play it. But then I got to the Floor 3 vault in Kaneshiro's Bank and started dropping to like 15-20 frames which absolutely should not be happening. Guess I should've expected something like this from an Atlus game anyways they always have some sort of problem. Just want to see if anybody else experienced similar extreme frame drops in the area. (just to add: have tried pretty much every fix, my CPUs just wont ever go above 30% most of the time. And no, it isn't bottlenecking my CPU's run well over 60% on other games like God Of War lol.)

Have already tried dxvk lol, increases frame rate by like 5 max in palaces and nowhere else. Had no effect on that specific part of the bank.

Have you checked your GPU's PCIE slot and bus interface ? I had a similar issue where my PC stuttered in highly populated areas. My bus interface was locked at 1.1 and this game now runs smoothly at 60 with the interface set to 3.0.

honestly this is probably it. have to use a 2.0 x4 interface because my GPU doesn't have enough room in the primary 3.0 x16 so will have to work something out I guess

don't get me wrong though I believe part of this is still the game if I can get 70+ fps in games like God of War and Judgment on high settings but am dropping to 40 on medium settings on persona 5 of all games lol.

The game spams the hell out of draw calls compared to better optimized ones. RAM bandwidth and PCIe bandwidth are paramount until (if?) it gets patched.

super unfortunate. not going to open up my PC and try to shove the GPU in the better slot just for one game. atlus ports :p.

Did you try rebooting your comp after installing? From my experience almost no one does that currently but it fixes so many issues with so many games.
