Persona 5 Strikers is a really small game, could be a dlc for Persona 5 Royal, but the story is still a nice one, very simple comparing to Persona 5 Royal, but good. The game feels more like previous games in the series, like Persona 3.
Later you can try Persona 4 Golden. It has its own mystical plot.
Persona 3 is mostly about the gameplay only. There is a storyline but it is on the background of the gameplay, really old school piece of game industry.
Let's discuss this:
P5 Strikers can't be a dlc. First of all, it has a different genre. It's a real time action instead of turn based JRPG. And small? 70 hours for me, which is less than P5 but still a lot.
P3 is about gameplay? Have you played it?! The game carries its story despite its very outdated game design
It doesnt matter for me if its a diffrerent genre or not, P5 Strikers is small for any genre I would say.
I have made my point about P3 already?
Post game dlc with Aegis adds a little more to the game world and characters. But the actual and same answers we have got in the next Persona 4 game. So the dlc worth only to know a very little background of the main characters, however you wont be able to know anything important from them, or get some great memorable fan service scenes.
ps: persona 3 is all about death and how to overcome harships with it. If someone close to you have died, well, this game supposed to "help" you and give another reason to live or something, but you have to play a lot, before you and IF you get your answers, because this might be actually useless for you.
There are also easter egg in the Portable version about another their game ~ Catherine about hardships of life and stuff.
- If you are only going to ever play one game from the franchise, get Persona 5 Royal. This is at the moment the most polished game with the largest amount of features. If you are up to get more than one, I would advise starting with Persona 3 Reload and then Persona 5 Royal. That's cause even though P3R is a great game, it is still a remaster of an older game. In terms of things to do and mechanics, it is below P5R. So going from P5R to P3R might hurt the experience.
- Get Royal, it basically takes the main Persona 5 game and adds like 50+% more content.
- Nah, I started from P5 without any knowledge of the franchise.
"It doesnt matter for me if its a diffrerent genre or not, P5 Strikers is small for any genre I would say." So, 70 hours is too little for any genre to be a full game. It only deserves to be a dlc. That's what I'm reading here. I don't even know what you think of games that last for 20h. Like Call of Duty (which I hate myself) or Dead Space (which I love)
P3. I genuinely don't understand why you bringing up the Answer... About the message itself in P3. I would say that the theme is not necessarily overcoming death, but rather about accepting mortality. Memento mori.
But more importantly, why are we talking about this? Your first comment said that its story is bad and the game is about gameplay. I said otherwise. And your answer is to talk about the theme of the game? What is it supposed to prove?
You should understand one simple thing: I am here to talk and not to argue about your opinions, lies and any other stuff.
