DRM only serves to hurt paying customers
Sega leaving money on the table. Persona, Yakuza, and Judgment all interesting. All Denuvo.

I'm really trying to enjoy the game, but this server crashing thing is getting really annoying. What is up with them man D:<

That's why you should never buy Sega games on PC. Denuvo = no buy.

I can't be the only one who isn't crashing or having performance issues, etc? right? I mean Steam alone shows like 12k people playing, Is there anything spec wise that might be linked to it? Or maybe something Software related in the background, or some way of replicating the issue for those not having it?

Yakuza LAD is sold on GOG without Denuvo!

I saw that too. I am in the USA, so I guess some servers here must still be working. I sent a message to Irdeto to ask about some info, last few times I did this it took a couple of days to get the info so I'll post back, until then I hope the issue resolves itself soon for those having issues.

The Activation Part is the Worst. Having to reactivate online after 2 Weeks is rubbish especially for Steam Deck. And it can lead to unplayable situations. Publishers must remove it at least a year after launch
As long as you are online, activation takes a fraction of a second, your pc/steam deck won't even notice it. I get that sometimes it can be awkward when travelling, or just going places where an internet connection may not be readily available, but that's why I have my phone.

I just tether my phone to my pc and use it as an internet connection for that fraction of a second that's needed. And if you don't have a phone, or can't use yours for any reason, if it is still that important, grab a cheap prepaid android phone and use it as the internet connection.

As for the companies, they don't have to stop what their doing. What they are required to do is tell you it's there (Which it states on the store page) and other than that, they can put it in as long as they want.

Your option then is if you want the game, get it. If you don't want to support Denuvo directly, get the game on console where the DRM isn't present. Although you are still supporting SEGA/ATLUS and as such, ultimately Denuvo as well, or you can just not buy it.

It is your decision to make, all the info for making your choice is available to you, so you can make the best choice for yourself.

A bunch of Yakuza games are DRM free on GOG

Steam should ban games who have Denuvo.

if you dont like DRM then i suggest you stop using steam as its a DRM itself

what if im on vacation in cuba for a month and wanna play persona 5 on the beach every single day how si that not fair? i should have the right to play the game
Then I suppose you would probably also be in a position to do as I mentioned, and get a prepaid phone when you are there, and use it as an internet connection for the time that it needs to authenticate.
