Yakuza Infinite Wealth
Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster
Shin Megami Tensei V (Switch only for now)
Soul Hackers 2
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition (this one has Online PvP)
And Shin Megami Tensei games are dungeon crawling games. They focus on battles instead of a story like Persona
Persona Revelations, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment are good too.
Probably the closest SMT mainline game to Persona. Since its the worldbuilding of SMT, but with a strong character and story focus like Persona.
Saying SMT4 doesnt have a story focus as well would also be wrong. It even has that classic Persona multi-hour intro.
Only reason I think that wouldnt be mentioned previously is due to it being 3DS only.
Or due to confusion between 4 and 4 Apocalypse (which is its sequel that isnt as good overall)
Of course, the main issue will be the localisation, so I wouldn't get your hopes up too high yet.
