Is this game better than Honkai Star Rail?

HSR was inspired by this game and is doing very well. Since I enjoy HSR I was wondering if I should get Persona 5. Is it on the same level as HSR or even better?

HSR is better: endless story, Persona 5 doesn't have gacha. Pom Pom is much better mascot than a talketive cat. HSR also have PvP while Persona 5 doesn't have PvP system.

Personally, P5R is much better than HSR. I can't stop playing P5R. You know that playing as a DK is really immersive. Meanwhile, HSR is a kind of selling the honkai IP and I soon get bored.

P5 is better. In many anime character games nowadays, it is inevitable that people will have aesthetic fatigue. But the P5 has its own unique red and black style that l like it.

I would not even seriously compare them.
Persona 5 story is leagues beyond star rail, and the combat system is much deeper.
Apart from all that, it's a completely different game anyway. All they share is the tactical approach to combat.

Is this a clown farm comment ? The quality of a game is not expressed with its mascot, and your "endless story" is just gatcha events. The real story chapters are quite rare, and after an initial high it got very boring very fast. It's about time to finally move on to the next planet.

Your opinions on anything ever should be dismissed just because of this.

OP, if you're interested enough to get "on the fence", then get it. You will not be disappointed, and you will most certainly enjoy it more than any miHoYo game.

I think from how I was reading that is that. HSR has Gacha but PS5R does not. Just pointing out that one game has it the other does not. (My assumption). Not that it's better because Gatcha is not better..

But OP : Persona 5 >>> HSR (HSR is just generic trash.)
