before that, do you like heavy dialogue with a lot of cutscene JRPG? i dont know how you play HSR and i dont know if you skip the dialouge in HSR but if you hate that, then dont download this. Its pretty annoying for dumb people like that who complaint about the game without research
ANNNNDDD THE OBBBBVVVIOUSSSSSS DIFFERENCE IS P5R doesnt HAVE A FKING GACHA WHERE YOU HAVE TO SPEND MORE THAN 1000$ FOR ONE 5* CHARACTER
this game isnt like HSR but the game is worth it for sure, i like both hsr and genshin and i love p5r so yea go for it, play it first before P5 Strikers or P5 tactics since P5R is like the starting point and the rest are like continuation
For long:
if u have a decent pc then go for it, this game isn't the same as HSR but it has some amazing feature such as the "time feature" where you are limited to do 3 things a day and have tons of stuff you wanna do on that day for example working on urself or hanging out with one of the characters in the game or going to school or working to gather money, and more, the story also makes you feel like you don't have much time since you will also be going to palaces a lot but the story is 100% worth it, for the fighting mechanism its the same but also not, you have persona's to catch or to fuse and create new persona's, these persona's help you defeat enimes and some can be supporters and some can be attackers and each one has it's own "elements" fire, water, etc, pulling isnt something here and if you want more characters you need to progress in the game, if you want to start persona i would recommend persona 5 royal or the og persona 5, they are the same except the royal is a remake and has more stuff to do and i think an extra character
in the end if you think it's better or not then it depends on you, some people would prefer this over HSR or the other way, i love both so i would recommend this
Still hate the avx btw. Waste of my patience back then.
If you're looking for a short and more simple stories with a bunch of characters that get developped mainly through side quests go for hsr
If you want a much more deep, complex, longer, visually pleasing game that has a lot of depth into its characters and that has genuinely one of the most astounding ost's out there coupled with some of the most well written characters, go for P5R
It's literally just yeah well ♥♥♥♥ YOU i have friends and you're CRINGE: p4/5 protag to villain at the end of the game
Ost on the otherhand 0 arguments.
Maybe we see things differently, but that's fine. I think your side of things is pretty intresting :3
HSR is like a fun chinese turn based game for children with gacha mechanic
P5R is harder, more complex and more complicated story than HSR
in other hands, HSR is just a fun game to play when you are bored, but there's absolute no way HSR is better than P5R and why comparing F2P game over a game considered an AAA game title and the one of the most iconic J-RPG title in the history of gaming and it cost $60
I played both games, I got Acheron E3 on HSR with Ruan Mei and Sliverwolf, I took a break from HSR just to play P5R (I'm still playing P5R). And I'm going to say P5R vibe is literally 10 times better than HSR so you should consider buying P5R.
