just because it dose not explicitly state "WEAKNESS" above a enemys head when you attack them dose not mean it has no weaknesses, you just have to find them. working out how to ensure the boss cant hurt you or only hurt a little is just as much a weakness as using watergun on a onix.
boss has a limited move pool while we can change around things to take advantage of the fact and even use items to resist, absorb or bounce the attack back assuming its not immune or absorbs it.
the vast majority of bosses have a weakness, the only ones that don't tend to spam almighty.
It makes things more challenging but it can make some encounters more boring as well.
