Kasumi for sure. She has her nerdy side with her glasses but you can also see her other side without glasses. She's taller/Flexiable than Futaba and acting more mature.
Futaba is just nerdy to the core.

you will have hard time with Futaba in real life, she doesn't cook, doesn't do dishes, play games all day, the relationship won't last long.

on the contrary, Kasumi does dishes, prepares food for you every day like Sushi, fish, steak, she likes to cook, she's polite, good looking. she's the perfect waifu even in real life.

The way they wrote Kasumi during the little interactions in the game is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. The jump to get the balloon, her doing ballet during a school dance, her doing stretches while fighting? She's just an attention ♥♥♥♥♥. Makoto is better and she's low on my P5R list of girls.

Futuba is flawed but she's working on them. Not only that but she's a genius and will most likely grow up to be like her mother, who has Sojiro's ladykiller stamp of approval.

for romance i choose kasumi over futaba, but for shadow battle futaba is always there when i need her ultra charge just like Rise, if u wanna both Rise is the winner, Rise is a navi like Futaba and a simp like Kasumi.

what about making the party? Does anyone seriously put Futaba on the front line? She looks designed to ONLY be used for support

Her stats are in line with the other members (very close to Yoshisawa's, except for near maxed luck), so she wouldn't be useless plus she has a trait that can nuke a whole group of enemies, add SP, and support skills that reflect everything. With her luck stat, throw on a Sword Dance or One Shot Kill and it will all be crits.
