(Spoilers welcome) I want a definitive answer on the full consequences of romancing all possible confidants.

UPDATE: I did it, and I'm glad I did. It went even better than I hoped. There was a scene at the end of the "post Valentines Day event" where Sojiro pretty much says he covered for me and got me off the hook anyway. This is definitely the way.

I only intend on playing through once, so I really want to do all of them in one go. What specifically do I miss out on?

I've read a bunch of threads here and reddit and gamefaqs and they are split between people saying to do it b/c you don't really miss much and people saying don't do it b/c you'll regret it. I want to know exactly what I will regret.

If it's just items for NG+, and one post-Valentines day scene that I can just pretend didn't happen and move on with my life, I'm good with that.

So will someone please tell me the exact consequences. As the title says, I don't mind spoilers, I just want to know because this will be my first and only playthrough of this game, and I want to squeeze as much content out of it as I c

Nothing. You get a specific valentines day / post valentines day scene and an extra NG item (you don't technically miss out any items for NG, you still get the one from the girl you opt to spend valentines day with).

I would suggest to take one girl and watch the others on YT. So you don't miss anything and don't get the scenethat makes you feel bad. Or you skip the scene and pretend it never happend because so does the game.

consquences romance all female confidants:
Joker will get beaten on valentine by all girls, meaning Joker will only receive chocolate from Sojiro, including if Joker decided to spend time with Ryuji, all female that joker take on relationship will beat joker on valentine day, additional info if joker romance 2 girls: let's say joker pick girl A on valentine day then joker will beaten up by girl B or vice versa, if Joker choose to spend time with Ryuji then Joker will beaten up by Girl A and B

pros doing romance all female confidants:
There's a thieves den achievement that joker must romance 10 girls, there's two way to do it one: romance one girl each playtrough for 10x or two: romance all 10 girls in a single playthrough, if u go to perfect route then 1 girl per playthrough for 10x must be done because joker can only obtain each girl's chocolate by only doing romance single girl per playthrough, even sojiro / ryuji only give "bad" chocolate but still those chocolates from sojiro / ryuji counted as unique item, so getting beat up with the girls will allow joker to get unique chocolate from sojiro / ryuji, not so bad exchange.

however there's a way to do the harem route w/o getting beaten by the girls, first u can romance 2 - 10 girls in a single playthrough, second u must choose maruki's reality and u skip entirely valentine event, u can get the thieves den achivement but u won't receive any chocolate even from sojiro and u won't see any girls will beat u up, your choice, which path do u wanna take?

If you romance everyone or more than one the only consequence is a funny pre-pre-ending 2/15 scene and then is immediately forgotten for the pre-ending White Day romance scene where you can romance whoever you want, and the ending is unchanged. (And you can only get Sojiro's chocolates instead of a girl's which is part of this scene.) You can still romance whoever you want on Valentine's day too. Romance whoever you want it doesn't affect the game.

Can confirm that there's no real consequence and even during White Day the girl you choose to spend time with will basically shrug it off but all the ladies willl still give out their farewell gift at the end.

If you don't mind a little trickery with CE, you can cycle back to 2/13 evening and select all the girls for all the chocolates and even select the no response one to get Ryuji's chocolate.

You can also just make a save before rank 9, romance a character just skip a few days until you can get rank 10, get the scene, reload the save and continue playing normally without romancing the character.

It only really takes a few minutes per, probably far less if you don't bother to read the dialogue and everything.
