Madarame's Palace infiltration bug...

When first getting into the palace, climbing across the pedestals, I am unable to climb any further. I can see a security guard in the distance and examine him... i can use third eye to see that i am supposed to jump up, but I get no prompt ( https://imgur.com/a/63HW3rP )

Gamepass version, if thats important

press ctrl and use third eye there should be a exclamation mark at the point where you are supposed to jump.

I have the same problem. Tried dashing, using third eye and still no jump prompt appears. Totally stuck now!

Aim for the rooftop, you go in via the sky light. Some of the pedestals are dead ends, I recall a bridge like section that gets you towards the wall, then you get up the wall.

Did a solution for this get posted? I travel along the pedestals and across the ledge to the location to jump up on the roof but then there is no ability to jump up. I am about ready to give up on this game entirely due to a simple "bug" or misunderstanding.

Note that I am on PC. Is there a way to advance a "quest" using console commands?

Found that this was my first location where I did not get a jump prompt. Simply had to use phantom sight to identify the jump location and then jump (action key). Apparently there are many locations where there is not a prompt.

I just encountered the same issue (on PC). Ran around at different speeds and different angles for ages and only managed to get the prompt to last for a millisecond before it disappeared a bunch of times. It was impossible to press space before the prompt disappeared and the prompt appeared at different spots along the ledge (not exclusively at the third eye-mark). I finally managed to get it right by going against the outer corner (on the left side of the ledge you're supposed to jump up on). Sometimes that point activates "examine guard" or something, so you might have to try it a couple of times to get the right angle. When you're finally up on the ledge the perspective shifts so that you're looking at it more from the side than from the back, so it's almost as if the programming was confused between the two perspectives somehow? It's really difficult to explain but I hope it can be of help for others who get stuck here!
