Is it worth to replay the whole game just to play the extra mission?

I screwed up playing the game blind by not doing the requirement and now I won't be able to experience the extra mission on my first play through. My question is that is it worth replaying just to experience the royal content or it's better to just watch it on youtube?

If you have a save file in late October or early November then you can use that save to max out councillor and skip everything so you can get into 3rd semester as soon as possible.

If you're a completionist and want to unlock everything then yes, otherwise watching a video is fine though the experience is better if you play yourself imo.

You can also fast forward and skip cutscenes and dialogue you have already seen and carry over almost everything in new game+ to speedrun dungeons and unlock some confidants earlier.

Depend on how much you like the game really. If you enjoy the game and want to play again (or play later) why not? There are also secret boss to fight as well if you want some challenge.

The final (extra) dungeon is amazing, in my opinion. The story for that section is very gripping.

The extra content is about 20 hours long, so don't worry about it

If you don't want to replay most of the game, I have a save file right before the December 24th boss fight with all the confidants maxed. The only issue is that you will have to beat the boss again and that no one was romanced in this save.

If you don't know how to put the save in, you can do it by doing this:

Download the folder and extract it. Find DATA09 (You can change the 09 to any number from 01 to 16 since this will determine which slot the save will show up in from the load screen).

I'm gonna assume you're on Windows so press 'windows logo + R' and paste this in:
%APPDATA%\SEGA\P5R\Steam

You'll see a long number there but just navigate pass it until you see the 'savedata' folder. You should find all your other saves here. Copy and paste DATA09 into the same place. When you launch the game, the save should show up in slot 9 (Again, you can change the slot the save appears in by changing the number that comes after DATA. For example, DATA03 will mean slot 3 and DATA16 will mean slot 16).

Play NG+ and enjoy Royal content by yourself. I am still on NG and i am able to max both my stats social including max all confidants with their 3rd-tier persona, it's not that hard doing complete them on NG.

Also Kasumi if you want to romamce her (which you can ONLY do in the new semester), and Goro if you want to see him in the ending.

The changes are noticeable from the start tbh.
But if you weren't going to replay the game anyways I don't think it's really worth it.

And let that be a lesson. You always wait for the actual complete version of Persona games if you don't want to replay them.

dont like watching spoilers and I been avoiding persona content since released just for the small chance of it coming to pc
