audio quality for voices is pretty bad

it sounds very compressed, especially around s sounds.
Any fix? It was just as bad in the previous console versions

There's no "fix". The recorded voices, especially in the English dub seem to be poorly mastered. I dunno if the problem stems from the recording booth (poor quality microphone), mixing and leveling, or compression.

Personally, my money is on leveling. It sounds like they used too aggressive audio normalization, causing the dynamic range to be lost.

I played P5 on the PS3 and remember a number of lines sounding odd / low quality, as if normalization was enabled and set too aggressively.

I can't get past this issue. It's the same in both languages :(

Unfortunately I'm a mixing engineer and producer, listening to the quality kills my immersion
