JP is fine, but it plays to types a bit too strongly for my tastes.
What do you get out of listening to voices you can't understand?
If you watch anime in japanese then well go japanese, else you can use english and have fun.
It also helps that dubs have gotten dramatically better over the years.
In the 90s nobody could fault you for being sub only, because the dubs were trash. But it's been 30 years, and there's money in it now.
I generally prefer the English dub, but I've been through with both and either one is fine.
