Is there bug with twin hang out or is it because I did something wrong?

On 11/7, I remember before going to mementos they me ask are to bring them to maid cafe.

Currently, I just finish mementos request and ask Kawakami for a massage to do evening activity. Now, they are missing. Screenshot 1

The twin confidant are available for evening hang out from assist menu. But, when I clicked it the twin are not there to even follow the assist. Screenshot 2

It seems like from Everyone's Activity menu hang out with the twin are available for them. Screenshot 3

Is this a bug or are they not available because I did mementos?

• 7 - I have checked everyday that I can from 11/15 to 12/12. Before, during, and after palace infiltration at evening, and they never appear(even when they give me a phone call)

If you also experience this, I will include this in bug report later.

In the guide i did okumura palace by the 30 of september, i had visited the cafe previously and got 5 stamps, the guide then said to go to the cafe in the evening of the 30, they didnt appear after i completed the okumura palace, i started october and the guide said to visit again in the evening but nothing

Then i visited in the afternon because they appeared only at that hour, asked them to hang out and they instead told me to visit the museum, but i had to go in the evening

So in my case after i did okumura palace they no longer appeared in the evening

I reloaded before i propossed to ann

So in this save i hadnt created kaguya picaro (really loved it) and i lost like 30 hours of progress, but since the game is VN heavy most of the time im skiping it

I have more stamps from maid cafe now. Even after completing Shido's palace, they won't go outting with me. I asked my friend he also don't have problem with the twin previously.

Just to be sure, did you complete hang out with before the patch Ver. 1.02 was out? or did you do it recently? I am trying to eliminate some of the possibilities.

If all else fail, then I might have busted this playthrough. :x

It's might be a bug after the new patch.
Miura Beach is indeed optional. But, it might be reason for the bug to trigger.

I've got some good and bad news. Good news is I figured out what broke (in my case, at least) by looking through the game's code, and managed to fix it. Bad news is that I don't think there's a way to fix it without modifying flags manually

the Ueno and Maid Cafe events are only available at night, which is why we're getting this dialogue of "come back later" when interacting with them during the day. However, for me, Justine does not spawn at night which is what was blocking me.

It seems that one of the flags for the Miura Beach event prevents Justine from spawning at night, since Miura Beach is daytime only. Miura Beach however is a limited time event from Sept. 2-29th, and expires to go to the next event in queue, which is Ueno/Maid Cafe. Somehow, it seems this flag to make her not spawn at night was never disabled for me.

Changing this bit flag manually fixed the issue for me, and I was able to proceed with the Maid Cafe event. I realize this isn't a very useful solution, and if your issue is the same as mine, it might be Atlus' fault. However, if you want to modify the flag yourself, the solution is to disable the 2072 bit flag (may need to turn off 2070 as well).

I already reported the bug a month ago and included this discussion in the post. Here.

Hope they fix it soon!

From the guide you linked to, it seems to be for 100% achievement. Though twin outing are not required to get 100% achievement, it does help getting some of the useful skill card like Tetrakarn and Heat Riser without having to fuse persona.

In case you want to get the skill card without the twin, I'd suggest make use of this guide instead:
Skill Card List[samurai-gamers.com], though it had some error in the listing. You can kind of use this alternate skill card fusion listing[chinhodado.github.io] to find the one that are not in the list.

But, if you want the twin hang out for the twin dialogue. I can only recommend to view it on NG+ playthrough without missing the beach events.

I got the same bug as described here. I did not attend the miura beach event, so now the twins dont ever invite me to the maid cafe event (despite me already being there before)

Yep, this happened to me as well. Playing on switch btw, currently at 12/3 but I've been trying to take them to maid cafe back from september ig, not work. I already been to maid cafe 5 times I believe, I also missed the beach. They available at day, but said we can't go there yet and even at night, there is no prompt to take them.

I'm playing on PC and like most people on this thread, I was following 'thegamer' guide and now the twins are bugged for me. They don't appear in the evening to do the Ueno Museum Outing. Honestly, the strangest part for me about it is I don't even remember going to the Maid Cafe with them. I also did not do the Miura Beach event, so at this point I think this should be put on the bugs thread.

I'm experiencing this now on Xbox series s version (shows up in the suggested confidants menu by pressing back button [or menu or whatever it's call now], then Y, & a guide says I'm supposed to do that on a specific day, but they're not there. October 6th at night. Also, they sent me a message mentioning some important location they wanted me to take them to, which turns emotions into physical objects, or something like that, but they weren't there that night, either). I've been following the gamer.com's 100% Persona 5 royal guide, but the twins aren't there starting at the maid cafe date. I did do the beach outing, so it seems that's where the glitch lies? So strange, & it sucks. Did u ever figure this out? I'm on version 2.0.4.0. i guess I'll be getting all my cards to duplicate from fusion mistakes, or item executions. Still, i hate missing that story. I guess I'll have to search Bing for videos of it (if they're available, cuz i know vanilla p5 on ps4 was blocked for thr entire time i played it, launch until at least 1 year later).
