save abuse to get extra point of stats
hello, how important do you think for this? like crafting, chalk dodge, playing dart/billiard, etc
sometimes it will be too consuming time when we always hit bad RNG

don't bother if you're talking about your social stats unless you want to do a maxed run as your first playthrough of the game. Stat increases and the possibility to get them ramp up WAY more the closer you get to the end of the game and you take your Social stats with you into NG+

To give an example... at the start it's tough to find kindness and charm boosting things that don't take up huge amounts of time. Once you can start brewing coffee and visit stuff like the Jazz café or maid bar you get both stats at 3 points per activity taken and for some of those; they don't even take up time... you can only do them once per day...

As for proficiency... there's a book called the ABC's of crafting... once you've read that you can't just make stuff like bombs but on normal days you get 4pts of proficiency and an extra 2 on rainy days...seeing as you want to craft stuff like treasure maps and bombs anyways... proficiency was the first stat I maxed when the rest was still stuck at 2 or 3

Knowledge is easy leveled by upping Hifumi's social link; reading when you've got nothing else to do... and answering class questions correctly; the higher you score on your exams the more knowledge you'll get as a bonus too...

Guts is a tricky one though... Tae (death arcana) helps a bit... hanging with Iwai too.. but I had to make the most out of books and movies to make up for the rest.

Exams give you charm, not knowledge. And Iwai gives proficiency, not guts. Jazz club doesn't give you social stats at all. I can be wrong here, but coffee gives points to Sojiro but doesn't raise stats

my bad; indeed it gives charm... as well as dodging the crayon btw...and I know Jazz club gave me social stats on a couple of occasions... might have been akechi related then though

To expand on previous comment: Ohya gives you charm, Sojiro and Shinya kindness. And don't forget about plant in your room, it's free kindness

brewing coffee actually gives you a little bit of charm. to elaborate further, after you explore palace or mementos, since you can't leave leblanc (except once you max Kawakami confidant) you can raise each stat in leblanc albeit in small amount
brewing coffee raise charm
studying raise knowledge
cleaning the cafe raise kindness
cooking curry raise guts
crafting raise proficiency
there are other activity that can raise you social stat faster but you cannot do it everyday like finishing the crosswords puzzle and answering the quiz on TV raise knowledge and taking care of the plant raise kindness

You don't need to save scum at all for social stats. I maxed all social stats and all but 1 rank on one confidant on my first playthrough without using a guide.
ElidibusXIV Nov 23, 2022 @ 5:18am
No I don't think it important at all I never save scum for stats and I still max all of my stats and complete all confidant.
Jauhis Nov 23, 2022 @ 5:31am
And dont forget "random" stat drink on sundays that cost 5k but doesnt take any time.

Not needed, honestly. It's easy to do. This game is extremely forgiving.
Steel Nov 23, 2022 @ 2:49pm
I've only felt that it was worth it to do this during velvet room alarms. That has some really random stuff with some potentially insane benefits, so it's worth the trouble, but otherwise no.
J.M. Nov 23, 2022 @ 3:41pm
Don’t need save abuse for social status. Save abuse is for velvet room alarm gallows when you want to transfer a skill on persona A to persona B. Even though I still think you don’t need save abuse because you can get most skills from fusion and skill cards.

This is why temperance rank 10 is important. Also in early game I’d recommend watching dvd over other activities in Leblanc. After akihabara is unlocked, play games.
Arifufu Nov 23, 2022 @ 6:47pm
no, u can only get stats bonus like once per week for sitting at couch kitchijoji or write phantom thief logo in whiteboard.

the only way u can do stats boost is by doing certain activities such as read book, watch dvd, play a game, doing part-time job. Much better use Luck reading from Fortune confidant
Terra Nov 23, 2022 @ 8:49pm
It should also be mentioned that the game gives you an ABSURD amount of time to perfect it.

I had every S Link at 10 by the end of November, and I got hard-locked by a Guts requirement for like 2 weeks at one point. There's like 40-50 days of leeway. As long as you're not just going straight home and sleeping, you'll be fine.
