Ways to kill the Reaper?

honestly just want to kill him for the achievement. Im level 70 atm and realised hes kinda nuts.

Dont mind legit or cheese strats just anyway to beat him would be nice.

Save your game before then change your difficulty in the options to safe and just use rush. Chose to retry when joker dies and the game will revive you so just rinse until he's dead . After achievement pops reload your previous save so you arent stuck on safe ( if you care ).

Thanks alot! I already have a seperate save so I might just use that or create a new one. How long do you have to wait to get the reaper to appear on a floor btw?

He appears after 2 minutes when you dnt move that much. Or if you get lucky he can spawn right away after you enter a mementos area but its very rare (i triggered it once by coincidence). Best bet is to wait for 2 mins.

lmao I got that just earlier and thats how I realised the reaper was painful. Im on hard too so I can imagine basically needing to be max level but grinding mementos for that would take forever and by the time im at that level organically I proberly will have finished the game where I cant get the achievement anymore.

Probably around 5 mins or so staying on the same floor also not positive but i think he only spawns deeper in mementos like 2 zones down should be good.

He spawns in any area except the first area and the depths on any floor. Also he cant span on resting places.

Let him ambush you, and have skills such as Thermopyliat ready. Being ambushed causes the Reaper to only act once instead of twice. If you feel confident, use the magic shield on any character, and he'll use Concentrate -> Megidolaon, it can hit quite a lot, but if you have a good healer, and debuffs him constantly, it won't matter much.

after reaper spawn, try the reaper ambush you. So the reaper only have one move per turn

Did teh devs fix the flu season exploit in Royal? I remember getting it easily in base game during flu season since the reaper dies after X amount of turns.

Prepare an Izanagi-no-okami, with the following skills:
- Myriad Truths (comes with izanagi-no-okami)
- Victory Cry (comes with izanagi-no-okami)
- Magic Ability (from online fusion)
- Almighty Boost (comes with izanagi-no-okami)
- Almighty Amp (from online fusion)
- Spell Master (electric chair moon lv55 tsukiyomi picaro)
- Drain Bless (priestess lv83 cybele learns this skill at lv87, need priestess coop lv10)
- Drain Curse (alarm electric chair hanged man lv82 attis, need hanged man coop lv10)

If you don't have the coop lv10 for drain bless&curse, you can use null/repel instead, these are easier to get. During alarm, fuse any two personas to get a golden persona, and feed this golden persona to izanagi-no-okami using alarm gallow. This triggers an accident and will not gain any exp but the status will go up for 10 points in total. Use this method to buff all status to 99.

Buffs: Neo Cadenza (unique skill to fools lv11 Orpheus F), Debilitate (Goro Akechi has this skill so bring him), Concentrate (use ring/crystal of greed, accessory from will seed in okumura's palace).

Turn 1 buff joker, turn 2 use Myriad Truths, and you one shot reaper. Also let reaper ambush you, so reaper only takes one move per turn. If you start the fight then reaper takes two moves per turn.

Yes. In P5R the Reaper is immune to it.

I honestly wonder if theres a way to do this fight legit without dlc persona on hard. Now that I wouldnt blame people for bragging about.
