I am starting to see a trend and there is a pattern emerging from those that report performance issues. From what I have seen, the majority of you are running fairly new AMD CPU's.
Graphic cards, doesn't seem to matter.
Make sure you have the newest BIOS for your MB. In the least check the update notes and check if it has mention of something that could be related.
As for a patch, we can only wait. Maybe there is a bug affecting AMD CPU's in the game?
As for general advice, update anything you can, like chipset drivers, ya da, ya da, ya da, You have probably heard that enough times.
Drivers are up to date, but I appreciate the suggestion. I am noticing a pattern with newer AMD cpu's as well. Must be something with the port. Hopefully, it get's addressed in a future patch.
I'll give this a try.
This is a pointless post. The direct point of comparison was to show that other more difficult games to run are working flawlessly. Meaning, it's not a PC wide issue, rather it's an isolated instance with Persona 5 Royal. And yes, this is essentially an upgraded port of a PS3/PS4 game. My specs should be able to run it at one million frames to be honest. I think the user above that mentioned newer AMD CPU's is onto something though. I'm routinely seeing issues with this game in particular & newer AMD chip sets across multiple forums, reddit, etc.
So your worthless reply aside. The other posters were of great help in narrowing this down.
Thanks for the bump
