Can I run the game with this CPU?
Hello, I have a i5-4460 CPU 3.20GHz, but the minimal requierements are i7-4790, 3.4 GHz.

Will I have too much troubles playing the game with my old CPU? Thanks.

Edit: Thank you everyone for your nice replies! I bought the game and it's running at 1080 with High-Medium setting on graphics. The FPS are usually arround 60 , with animations may have a bit of seconds of delay but I have played only a few minutes.

I consider this Post solved!

I'd suggest it won't as it's not the best port and looks to mimic the multiple all be it crap cores that Playstations have used in the past, (hence the i7). But you can allways just refund if it dosn't. if you're under 8 'threads' as am i then you need to brute force it with speed it seems.

You should be able to play P5R on paper, since all i5 and i7s support the necessary instruction sets, how smooth of an experience it is, probably depends on your settings and expectations.

If I run with the minimal settings , it should be ok, right?

I have a i3-8100 and the game runs fine at 1080p 60fps with high settings -even having 150% of upscale, I tried 200% and works fine too, but I don't wanna stress my GPU lol-. However, you'll notice some minimal stuttering in some specific places like Kichijoji -mostly ver populated places-, but it's nothing serious. You have to set the priority of P5R.exe to high in the Task Manager, otherwise the game won't work fine.

What kind of graphics card (GPU) do you have? A dedicated GPU, an SSD and sufficient RAM can help a lot to improve the experience when the CPU itself is a little older.

Agreed, you have to hours to test it and see if it will run for you. If it wont run well. Then refund before the two hours are up.

I play with the same CPU and it runs smooth with 100+ FPS almost everywhere, but in Yongen-Jaya it's almost unplayable, since it drops to 2-40FPS. However, whenever I'm in a dialog or I press the Assist button, the game suddenly runs smooth in the area, which is kiiinda weird. Here's a clip of the performance in such places: https://streamable.com/nuvxsy

Thanks dude, it's run better than before. When i set priority to high, it's still run laggy but after i change my anti-aliasing to off and change my fps to 60, it's run WAYYY more better than before.
