The other things you could sell to a vendor I think.

the accessories certainly make the game way easier if you choose to use them, especially the camera strap
the money you get doesn't break the game at all. it'll make buying equipment very early on easier but in the long run it isn't enough to mean anything
DLC personas are of many levels (like 10-90) and you can summon them (at any lvl) as soon as you have the compendium- best just to not do this at all. You can still get the DLC personas through fusion.
I found the DLC items were making things too easy while on hard. Regaining SP throughout the dungeon kinda breaks it- even with the legit, non-DLC items you can get early on in the game from Takemi.
The money is just money, it's not huge.
And I'll add that the DLC outfits are great as they change the battle/victory music. They even have all the older persona games' uniforms/music redone in there.
That is also true and sadly not much can be done about it outside of forcing yourself not to use it or deleting the move outright when you can
