The whole design philosophy of the Palaces are quite different from Tartarus or the TV World.

That's an insane amount of hours. I could only find the PS3 version with some HD texture packs and performance mods for now. I'll probably get the Steam version once Denuvo is gone.
But yes, as far as I can remember there's next to no backtracking at the scale you're thinking of in P5. Late in the first dungeon you do need to find two 'keys' that require you to go back, but they're in the previous two rooms, and due to the fact that you're playing Phantom Thieves that's surprisingly par for the course anyway.
