Can you Play Offline With No Internet?
I need to know because if I have to sign into some service to play a single player game, I’m going to pass. I would be playing on my steam deck while traveling.

Yes. There is an optional network feature but you can play the game offline.

Depends on how Denuvo is implemented.

Won't go into specifics, but you may get locked out one day if you are offline because it needs to "check in" with the servers.

Anyone feel free to correct me if i am wrong.

Exactly this, was trying to boot the game in Offline mode but it wouldn't let me before i booted the game online once, so it's typical DENUVO thingy as usual

Works fine offline. First start and occasional online launches required.

If you're playing on steam deck there's very little difference(except maybe you get steam achievements + cards).

Denuvo will lock you out of your rightly purchased game someday. We dont yet know how annoying this Denuvo is implement, but all Denuvo versions need to communicate with a server at some point.

Performance-wise you should be ok, however Denuvo has been shown to block users playing on the Steam deck. It seems that switching from desktop to the deck doesn't play well with the limited daily activations from the DRM middleware and triggers the 24hour lockouts Denuvo is now infamous for.

as long as youre not changing Proton layers you should be fine the biggest problem from deck users trying protons Id consider checking protonDB for games with denuvo to see if you need GE or if Base works fine
