First of all, it's "Free" on a subscription-based service, sure. But secondly, games come and go from Gamepass. In a year it won't be there. If you want a copy you can play again, buy it.. now, or on sale.

Don't rely on Gamepass to keep anything for more than 6 months to a year. They just removed like 20 horror games on Sept 30, because sure THAT makes sense..

Um no because the game will be delisted from Game Pass eventually forcing you to purchase it anyway. Plus you have to pay for the subscription fee of game pass. So it is not free.

How many play a game more than once? I'll best it while it's on game pass. After I'll wait until mods come out to do side things. By that time I'm sure game pass version will be gone by then. It'll also give time for P5R to have good sales on it.

Honestly it's a win-win to play on game pass over steam right now.

You do have a valid point. There are a few players who do multiple playthroughs of the game but that is a niche situation vs players who do only 1 playthrough which game pass is perfect for.
