Can someone tell me why this game is good?

I watched the anime and it was cringy, i saw the gameplay and it was cringy but i always wondering why the game got great reviews here and there.

it is seriously cringy if you watch the anime, and i'm watching lots of anime like Prison School, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, and else.

That would be a you problem...I am over 60 and have no issues with the game and the story. Thats being an adult.

It simply might not be for you and that's okay. If you want to try it anyway it's also on gamepass which is like 2-3 dollars for a month. Even if the game is critically acclaimed it doesn't mean you will like it. Warband is critically acclaimed and I dislike it and that's okay too. Each to their own etc. etc.

Or at least try to check out Shin Megami Tensei series (if you like JRPGs) - they got there more serious approach to the stories. The best are SMT III and IV. Fifth part in main series is not that bad, but the greatiest are listed up here.

Tons of gameplay for the dollar, very good art direction and music, amazingly interesting characters and decent story, fun innovative combat with an advancement system that no other JRPG is even trying to emulate.

Tons of side content organized in a realistic way, etc.

Whatever it is you like about JRPGs, this game has it. It's a bit on the easy side IF you are a veteran of many Persona/SMT games, but other than that it's a masterclass of the genre.

You know, Persona 4 is on Steam too, is a lot cheaper, and if you don't mind dated graphics it could be a less expensive way to see if you're a potential fan of these games. Many people think it's on par with P5 other than graphics, and some think the story is superior.

Same here, i always look for gameplay but only see cut scenes meaning I would have to search but never feel up to it. I learned today its like a FF but more anime
