Other than that, what do you even mean by "real content"?
the fights are half the fun, thats why games like FF or DQ encourage it, its a staple of the genre.
If im paying for a game. I want a full game. Games are a luxury, make time for it, or go for another game. Stop complaining and consider urself lucky you can afford a game let alone a PC to play it.
I'm always surprised how Atlus had the guts to make P5R. Atlus created literal perfection while knowing that insane amounts of people will never buy the game because of how perfect it is. Perfection always requires that people get filtered and that some people will never buy and like the game because of how unique it is.
It's really surprising how so many people play P5R. I would bet that not even 1 % of all people even understand this game. It is an artistic masterpiece which is flawless as a unit, but a complete mess if you can't appreciate every second. If you say "it's too long", "it's too anime", "it's too boring", "there is no story" (it has the deepest story in gaming history, but hidden behind perfect art and design) or other complains, you simply got filtered hard. P5R is a package. Either you hate it or think it's perfection (ignore the unfitting voice of the singer and the English lyrics. This is the only part where Atlus was trying to appeal to everyone). There is no middle ground.
the long and grindy is the content. :D
