Nope. The game has five difficulty settings. I'm playing on HARD, the balancing feels fine.
But if you're a glutton for punishment, you do have the option to play on MERCILESS.
Also Merciless works both ways so your weakness gets hit for 3 times damage, but so does theirs so you can just wipe entire mobs in one go.

Crank it up to the highest difficulty and then if you play casually you’ll have a rough time, if you play optimally you’ll have an easier time and get through okay, and if you play horribly you’ll be miserable.
Merciless can be too easy after you get most element to attack since you also did x3 weakness&technical dmg to enemy some boss fight can go really fast with this x3 dmg
