Unable to create system data

Game won't let me get past the very first screen and won't create system data. I know my processor supports the SSE4.2 and AVX instruction sets so it isn't that :c

Try verifying the game integrity.
Try updating your drivers.
Try a compatibility mode.
That's all I can think of.

Do you have more than 1 display ?
I got it to work after turning off my second screen .

Windows, and I just tried without an antivirus and it still won't let me make the data. I've also reinstalled and verified twice and it still isn't working, and I only have 1 monitor

I get the same error, only I'm running windows 11 through Parallels on an M1 Mac. I'm almost relieved to learn true Windows users are having this problem, too, since I've been concerned that it's something with Denuvo or my GPU blocking it.
