Camera movement dead zone
Playing with controller, the camera movement feels awful. It doesn't start to move at all until you push the stick all the way to one side. Definitely not an issue with my controller because it works perfectly in all other games.

Any way to fix?

Playing on gamepass but having the same thoughts. Feels really bad, hard to play actually.

Same issue, I hope we get a fix for this.

I have discovered a workaround to fix this.
Click on Controller Layout for the game in Steam. Then click on the right stick and click "additional settings". Then increase the anti-deadzone a significant margin (not all the way though).

Where is controller layout?

Controller layout is in the Library Details for the game (where it says Store Page, Community Hub, Points Shop etc.) at the very end. Then click "Joystick Move" and then "Additional Details", and change the anti-deadzone there.

Same here. I was thinking something felt off.

Go to Settings, Game, set Controller Sensitivity to Maximum, fixed.

Wow thank you so much. It was very hard to play with that massive dead zone. And this also makes me realise how great steam is with all these settings and configs. I didnt even know it had this.

That library menu for me ends at "Support", there's no controller layout option

make sure your controller is turned on.
P5R properties ->Controller->Enable Steam input

Now I just need to figure out how to make it understand diagonal camera motions; the game on PS4 allowed diagonal camera movement, and it works with mouse on here, just not right stick.

Hey did you figure anything out for this? I've been playing kb/m but wanted to try controller. I've got the deadzone stuff figured out OK along with adjusting sensitivity, but not being able to move the camera diagonally is a no-go. Feels real weird and prefer mouse as a result.
