How many of you use time management / character guides?
Just curious how many of you look up guides on how to best use your time in game, or character dialogue guides to max out characters reputation / level ASAP?

I was debating doing it, but it makes the game feel like a chore. Maybe I might use one on my second playthrough.

guides telling you exactly what to do everyday ruin the game totally. Turns the fun into a chore. all your doing is reading an instruction manual.

Only after the first playthrough

Why would you pay 60 dollars for somebody else to tell you how to play? Let's Play videos are free.

On my first playthrough of vanilla P5 I never used any time management guide and still maxed out every confidant with like a month or two of time left over.

It's far, far more lenient than something like P3 where a guide is all but mandatory if you want to play it perfectly. Shoutouts to Temperance and Fortune confidants for being insane. Though guides ruin a first playthrough experience anyways if you ask me.

I did reference a guide for the best confidant answers sometimes but only because it prevented me from savescumming anyway lol.

If its your first play-through i would not bother and just play the game and not worry. At most i would only look up a guide to ensure you meet the requirements to enjoy the new Royal content.

I did in Persona 4 Golden because it is old and I didn't want to time sink achievements in a game that is old. I won't be doing it for Persona 5 Royal, I want to go in at it on my own.

In P5 you didn't need any guide for SL and non-combat stats.

In P5R its easier to max out everything without even trying.

Obviously you probably are going to waste some time but its unimportant

I'm following a guideline i found on reddit telling me a few tips to follow, mistakes to avoid and which confidants to focus on early

A good middle ground between a full guide and 100% blind
