Any way to improve UI quality on Steam Deck
The fonts look all pixelated. Upping the rendering resolution to 150% helps a little but not much.

I changed the resolution from 1280x800 to 1280x720 based on a review, and this seemed to fix the text display.

Not on Deck, but text looks a little pixelated to me no matter what setting I change. I've just accepted it at this point, since it doesn't bother me too much, but a fix would be nice

Set to 720, 800 makes it weird

I'm seeing the same pixelated text even at 720. I don't think it's something we can fix without a patch.

Setting to 720p should fix it and if it doesn’t then you’ll probably have to wait for either a patch or just deal with it.

720p makes it better, not a full fix. But setting the game to 1080p via Steam brings it back to what I would expect. Steam deck has plenty of power for this, but I locked it at 40fps so idk about 60.

I posted the fix and you said that windowed mode fixed it. Go check my post, that’s how I fixed it on the Steam Deck.

Changing to windowed mode switches to 720p which is a fix to keep it lower res. Switching to 1080p works better but uses more power... not sure if the game can hold 60fps at 1080p. I am playing locked 40fps.

I haven’t really noticed that much of a hit on battery life, but I’ve also capped it 40 FPS. I get around 3-3 1/2 hrs of gameplay. I played it a bit on 60 FPS and didn’t notice any dips.

I have definitely noticed an increase in the fans blowing at 1080p. I haven't tested the battery myself in 1080p. In 720p I played for nearly 2 hours and had almost 70% battery left. Not taxing at all.
