Button icons?

I plugged in my usb ps3 controller and it uses the icons for an xbox controller, i was wondering how i would change that or mod in the correct icons?

Is this in-game settings? Could be because I am using game pass that it won't let me if that is the case

it should be yeah. first thing I did was check the settings and found it immediately. It had already auto-detected my ps4 input tho.

If the setting isn't there for gamepass because its "xbox only" then that is a big thumbs down for the gamepass version

Yeah, unfortunately the option isn't there for gamepass players. That sucks but oh well

Anyways, using the steam controller settings, i set it to display as a dualshock 4 controller instead of a 3, and it used the correct icons. weird how they would only have those icons for the 4. I also tested this and it worked with my other controllers that used generic input, except my xbox controller, but thats fine because those icons match the face. I just dont want to use icons that dont match my controller.

Oh no I meant button icons onscreen yeah and Persona 5 Royal never had a ps3 release

If anyone is using a Pro Controller and knows how to fix the backwards button prompts let me know. For example it says B confirms on the menu, but A on the controller confirms. Its not unplayable but it is annoying.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a dev which put all buttons from all mainstream controllers in their game and let the player choose, like "whatever, go nuts". I haven't seen this in any other game.

You can choose whatever icons you like in the game settings, regardless of what controller you like.

It may not have icon sets form too many controllers, but it has for mainstream platforms. Check it out. The XBox set is also color-coded, not just B/W.
