I guess they were going for rule of cool and pure fun over anything, which I guess I can't argue with.
I think some of those Will Seed accessories were the worst offenders, starting battle with auto concentrate or being able to cast it on allies really broke some turn management balance and made a lot of trash fights single-turn encounters
I agree with you on the seeds. Considering how much power they bring to the table, they should be locked behind WAAAAAAY harder "boss" fights, imo.
And I think that SP items need a pretty hefty nerf too. As soon as you get a good portion of them, the difficulty just nose-dives (which sadly is common in every SMT game).
Just increasing stats of demons to make them harder is an easy way out, but am not a big fan of that. Would like to see some extra higher LVL demons (that can not be recruited) roaming the dungeons that have a slight chance to appear in trash fights, or as extra enemies (reinforcements) after the first trash fight.
Any other thoughts?
Example - Persona 4 Golden. The so called "Trainer" applications that can alter your game difficulty (or give you a "god mode" for example), works perfectly with the "alternative" version of Persona 4 Golden, but do not work at all with the Denuvo protected version. How do I know? Well - I don't need a trainer, but I tried it on Persona 4 Golden here on steam just for fun. And the result? - No dice... It won't work.
To put it bluntly - It's highly likable that mods that alter game play simply do not work because of Denuvo. Other mods, like graphical stuff or something, have a better chance, but it still will be a hit or miss.
In short - Start begging with the publisher. I am afraid that's the only option. Forget about mods, until a "alternative" version of Persona 5 Royal becomes available.
