the only one thats a big threat is the second to last group, the ones weak to psy, as they have a moderate amount of health and mid psy may simply not be enough if the boss def ups one of them.
the easiest way to do it is simply items on the other 2 players in your group to baton pass 4 times to use aoe psy twice per round, it should be enough to get through the wave and move on to the easy parts of the fight.
between you and haru you should have enough, if not, prep for the round with attack up and work from there i suppose, or go back and get some personas to fuse a bit
Royal version of this fight is stupid.
This is simply down to doing triple damage from weakness/crits/technicals WHILE getting boosted experience and gold, which makes Merciless a walk in the park - you end up with pools of SP leftover from killing enemies in one attack. Once Ann gets Dormina and Morgana gets Pulinpa, you don't even really need to worry about whether or not you can hit weaknesses anymore - all it costs is 3 SP to delete anything from the battlefield. As the devs confirmed in their interview, it's a fun difficulty that makes you feel good, but not intended as the hardest challenge.
As for the All Out Attack not being able to be triggered, that's because Shadow Okumura and Cognition Haru are technically on the field and not knocked down, despite them not being targetable yet.
I forgot that merciless could actually make this fight easier
I honestly rarely use baton pass before only to find out how broken it is.
At least I was never forced to switch the difficulty in Nocturne.
Dude, that's some crazy parallel universe you live in! And, wait you were seriously forced to SWITCH DIFFICULTIES in P5R? Damn, you must've really effed up there boss!
Nocturne was not like that, not a single boss was such BS like that. All of them were fair.
