any fix for the awful sound compression?

i don't remember it being like this. maybe it's cuz i upgraded my sound stuff. but feels sketchy. the sound compression is most notable for voices.

one of my favorite games ever, wanna replay it in the best condition possible.

Audio compression =/= audio issues either. Its suppose to be done so people don't waste so much storage on audio files. Seriously, you're the only one so far that I've seen with an audio issue and constantly complain about audio crackling. I imagine he probably doesn't know his audio setup that well either considering there are others with proper external audio setups not having this so called issue. Going to laugh if its just a corrupted download and he never tried to verify his files tho.

He obviously is not interested in fixing it..even if he has such an issue.Which I question.He is just using it as a vehicle to annoy people by saying everybody is having this issue. Which we all know is BS. Don't waste your time on him. Several people tried to help him.He completelly ignored every one of them. He has no issue at all. You cannot fix something that does not exist.

That's just how the lines were recorded, nothing can be done about it. If it helps the japanese voices are overall better, but a few characters like Sojiro are awfully compressed even in japanese, they sound like they were across the room while recording too,

That's just how the lines were recorded, nothing can be done about it. If it helps the japanese voices are overall better, but a few characters like Sojiro are awfully compressed even in japanese, they sound like they were across the room while recording too,

thanks for this i will try the japanese VOD. gives me a chance to hear the game differently this time.

though tolerable i personally find the sound compression quite distracting. i realize that's highly subjective but still. as someone who IS distracted by this i appreciate the tip.

My games work perfectly thanks. I find it odd that you are posting very similar messages on the Vampire Survivors forum; an Indy game that costs a few quid or dollars but is extremely popular, just like P5R. Seems to me you are trolling the most popular games on Steam.
